These terms and conditions (“Terms”) outline the submission guidelines and agreement for submitting a manuscript (“Manuscript”) for review to Made Familiar (StarShine Student Centre) (“Publisher”). By submitting your Manuscript, you agree to adhere to these Terms:

Eligibility

Manuscripts must be original works created by the submitting author.

The submitting author must have the legal right to submit the Manuscript.

Submission Process

Manuscripts must be submitted through the designated submission portal (here).

Include a cover letter with author contact information, a brief synopsis, and any relevant background or qualifications. We will use this information to contact you.

Save the Manuscript in PDF format and encrypt the Manuscript with a password.

Manuscript Content

Manuscripts must be in English.

Ensure that the Manuscript is properly formatted and proofread.

The Manuscript should not infringe upon the intellectual property rights of any third party.

Review Process

The review process may take several weeks. The Publisher will make reasonable efforts to provide feedback within a reasonable timeframe.

The decision to publish or reject a Manuscript is at the sole discretion of the Publisher.

Confidentiality

The Publisher will treat the Manuscript and all related materials as confidential.

The Publisher will not disclose, reproduce, or use the Manuscript for any purpose other than the review process without the author’s consent.

Rights and Ownership

Authors retain the copyright and ownership of their Manuscripts.

By submitting the Manuscript, the author grants the Publisher the right to review and evaluate the work.

Publication Agreement

If the Publisher expresses interest in publishing the Manuscript, a separate publishing agreement will be provided to the author for negotiation and approval.

Rejection and Feedback

The Publisher reserves the right to reject any Manuscript for any reason.

The Publisher may provide feedback to the author,but is not obligated to do so.

Multiple Submissions

Authors may submit multiple Manuscripts, but each Manuscript must be submitted separately.

Withdrawal

Authors may withdraw their Manuscript from consideration at any time by providing written notice to the Publisher to [email protected]

Modification of Terms

The Publisher reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Any changes will be communicated to authors.
