    K.C.S.E Made Familiar – CHEMISTRY

    This chemistry Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (K.C.S.E.) workbook by Made Familiar is designed to help students familiarize themselves with K.C.S.E. Chemistry questions. The workbook covers past K.C.S.E. Chemistry questions that have been tested from 2000 to date.

    Initially, the Chemistry syllabus was divided into Paper 1A, Paper 1B, and Paper 2. The recent syllabus review divided it into Paper 1, Paper 2, and Paper 3.

    This workbook covers questions tested in Paper 1 and Paper 2 only. The questions have been arranged according to topics and the respective forms in which they are taught. The questions in this workbook are in their original form, that is, as they appeared in the K.C.S.E. paper.

    Beneath every question, the following have been clearly indicated:

    • Marks carried by the question,
    • Year tested,
    • Paper tested in, and
    • Number in the paper.

    This information will help the students identify topics that are frequently tested and the various ways in which concepts in these topics are tested.

    Answers at the back of this workbook will allow for performance evaluation after every topic / question. The student should take a good note of the way the answers in this workbook have been given.
