K.C.S.E Made Familiar – ENGLISH
KSh735.00This Made Familiar revision book for the Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (K.C.S.E.) is designed to help students familiarize themselves with K.C.S.E. English questions.
K.C.S.E. English questions that have been tested from 2000 to date.
The questions have been arranged in sections which run across Form 1 to Form 4. The questions in this revision book are in their original form, that is, as they appeared in the K.C.S.E, paper. Beneath every question, the following have been clearly indicated:
* Marks carried by the question,
- Year tested,
- Paper tested in, and % Number in the paper.
Answers at the back of this workbook will allow for performance evaluation after every question.
The change of the syllabus in English though credible, has occasionally thrown the students into a quagmire. Many students have been groping in the dark in their endeavor to handle different questions and frequently learners of a very high capability have been performing dismally.
This book is aimed at inculcating the learner with effective skills of writing description, analysis, synthesis and evaluation in line with Blooms taxonomy. This book will go a long way to acquaint the learners with appropriate skills which will act as a springing board to success.
The contents in the book will surely enable the learners to identify the chronological sequence of ideas given that this will go a long way to give precision in the learners work and help cultivate a positive attitude to English.
Earlier on the English papers captured the various contents differently. Only Poetry, Oral Literature, Compositions and Grammar have been captured between 2000 and 2005.
